From the very start we have meticulously tested our raw materials for chemical residues in our desire to offer the end consumer a very pure and clean product. Considerations for the health of the consumer and the sustainability of the raw materials have remained at the heart of our product development. In addition, we focus on contemporary design and the high quality of our products and, in particular, the durability of our natural latex mattresses.

All of the raw materials we use - 100% natural latex, pure new wool, coconut fibre products, organic cotton fabrics, horsehair, camelhair or cashmere - are stringently tested for chemical residues. This allows us to maintain our high quality standards and to continuously better them for the future.

We are a small manufacturing business producing an ever expanding product range in Germany. Our focus is the manufacturing of mattresses. Our natural mattresses are mainly made from 100% natural latex - which from an orthopaedic perspective remains one of the top materials for mattresses. Additionally, we use other natural raw materials such as lambswool or camelhair.

For adults dormiente offers natural mattresses in the following ranges: natural basic, natural classic and natural deluxe. Children and young adults are catered for with a specific mattress range from dormiente. Our natural duvet range includes camelhair, cashmere and pure new wool duvets. For people suffering from allergies we offer machine washable cotton-kapok duvets and duvets with Tencel filling. Our pillow range includes special neck support pillows.

Our bed manufacturing facility makes solid wood bed frames from cherry, beech and walnut wood but also divans and contemporary sofa beds. A comprehensive selection of slats, from basic standard slats to a highly sophisticated motorised version, completes our product offering.
