WILD OAK

Wild oak is the name given to oak wood that is particularly notable for its dark, and in some cases cracked, stone inclusions, giving it a very individual and lively appearance. Sometimes you have to close these knotholes with wood putty to create a smooth surface. This should be known when choosing wild oak.
